The Young Rich: Top 10 myths exposed

This is a good exciting story of how those young talented people started businesses and I believe it was in the fashion and entertainment business. That is where they shine and lots of room for everyone.

The good thing is just like technologies the best is only on top for a short time so there is always millions left to be made over and over again.

Welcome to their world and yours can be the same if you do not thing about your family, children and such starving in the USA to make attempts to pull that stuff off.

There difference is they are young and can bounce back from what it takes in their niches which like I said Entertainment and Fashion which is a different world all together.

I lived with New England DJ s of Suffolk Massachusetts for over 20 years in that world they do not sleep and lots of revenue made most per function which is 24hrs a day. You have from the galleries to the sip & dips. Much more and lots of people come from all over just to be around those who have the real Entrepreneurial Spirit just as we do.

Great articles and something to think more about.

This is a good article and makes it clear that the main quality that the rich Entrepreneurs share is, Perseverance , in two ways….They stay at it until they find what works for them …..and once they find what works for them, they keep working to grow their business…. Thanks Cherrie……….Smokey

I love the way Smokey shared his insight with your article. The young rich find their rhythm and once that is accomplished they continue until they reach the level of success with that thing.

Here in Boston we dedicate a part of our water front to the rare Entrepreneurial Spirited youth and encourage them through sponsors to not go to college for four years instead be placed on this waterfront property to explore their ideas and make them manifest.

This is a great new bold way to help boost our economy from us dreamers. It is working so well and soon to catch on globally.

Loved how you disproved all of these common myths about the young and rich – I especially enjoyed your “masters of spin” section. This is true not just of this generation but of previous ones too – think of all of Herb Kelleher’s antics at Southwest Leasing – or Steve Job’s mesmerizing presentations at Apple’s annual meetings.

    Hi Cherrie,

I like very much point no.1. You know, Einstein was asked , in an interview, about the way huge scientific discoveries are made. His answer was : “Everybody knows you cannot do this or that. Sometimes a person who didn’t know that appears and … .”

    Have a wonderful day

Cherie, this is really interesting! I’ve seen the store “Cotton On”, didn’t realize there’s a whole chain of them! It would be interesting to know how many of those young successful people have parents who are entrepreneurs. “Being naive” is also part of inexperience too, don’t you think? They havent
had the “bad experiences” which change people’s mindsets, so they are most likely more positive than older entrepreneurs.

Good on them, I’m pleased there are so many young successful Aussies!

Paris Hilton is no self-made millionaire and she is dumb as a rock. My grandmother met her and my dad’s friend who managed security in one of the Las Vegas hotels had seen what she does in damage to expensive penthouse rooms.

She is just a spoiled kill spending daddy’s money.

This is definitely a great list.

I’m not so sure that today’s young entrepreneurs are the first of their kind. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a terrific list, but other ambitious youngsters have passed this way before only to be chided by their elders. I don’t think there is a need for them to operate with a chip on their shoulder. It’s the nature of their young success.

    Hi Cherie,

Great tips! Getting rich at any age comes down to doing things in a certain way. If you do these things you become wealth, no matter how old or young you are. These young bucks created massive value and built their friend network through disciplined acts; hence, the wealth.

    Thanks for sharing Cherrie!

Hi Cherrie. This list makes me wish I was young again 🙂 I have been amazed at how many young people who have become millionaires at a young age. It has also interested me that so many of them come from fairly remote places. But no matter what your age, everyone can learn something from this list. Thanks for sharing this information.
    All the best,

Hey Cherrie! This was Awesome! I do have to agree with Leslie above no matter what age you are you can learn from what you have said here. The main thing I have learned in the past is don’t try to go it alone. This can be very lonely and it is so nice to just hear yourself talk sometimes, HEHE Thank you for sharing Chery 🙂

    Hi Cherrie,
great post that ‘debunks’ those myths.

I wish I had grown up with what you call ‘being masters at spins’.

We certainly can learn from them (and vica versa).
    Thanks for sharing this!

This is great as what I get that we as older folks loose is self belief, when you are young you do think you are invincible generally and you think you know it all and more…and when channelled appropriately this can create such wonderful experiences in life, certainly something to learn….

Well said and I think the only points I stumbled over were #8 and #9 but that’s only because some of the most notorious of the young rich and famous end up spending so much time in the news and in drug rehab. For everyone one of them, I have no doubt there are dozens who shun that irresponsible lifestyle.
